Park Sounds’s debut project is complete! We received a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts in 2018 to build and perform a beautiful program called Root Systems including four new commissions and three existing contemporary works for viola/viola d’amore and percussion. The premier concert was presented by Winnipeg’s GroundSwell and took place October 6 for a full house at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The second show was October 8 in Brandon, presented by the Brandon University Pro Series.
